Batesville High School is a public school in Batesville, Indiana. It has 734 students in grades 9-12. The teachers are always there to help students do their best, but also be their friend when things get difficult. The vast classing options allows students to discover their passion, or what they might want to pursue in the future. Overall, Batesville High School is a wonderful school, with a very high success rate.

There are many options when it comes to scheduling, from Woodworking to Film Literature. There are many arts programs that students can choose from and many Math and English classes offered.

Every class is taught by a personable teacher who is there to teach and have fun. They honestly enjoy the company of students and will even allow them to hang out after school to just talk and work over homework lessons.

Workload is relatively easy and not too overwhelming. Along with offering many high school classes, this high school also offers free classes at the local Ivy Tech campus and dual credit high school/college classes. Almost 1/4 of students are enrolled in at least one AP or dual credit class.

There is a variety of extracurricular clubs and organizations at BHS. Some of the clubs have a pretty high commitment level, but most are laid back and meet and get things done when it’s convenient for most. Teachers and administration do support clubs and organizations.

School coaches know how to really connect with their athletes. 90% of students participate in the athletics, and they love it. All of school equipment is fairly new and works great. All of games are well attended, students love to go to support a good win against the rivalry teams.
