Grosse Pointe North High School is a public school in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. It has 1,343 students in grades 9-12. The school has a great vibe and the students and staff have so much spirit, and care a lot about academics and athletics.
GPN offers a wide variety of classes including regular level classes, honors classes, and AP classes. For nearly every remedial course there’s an honors and maybe even an A.P. Some of the courses include foods, fitness, arts, technology, etc which are all taught by the finest teachers.
The teachers at the school are very friendly and there are willing to any student in need at anytime. There communication skills are superb and they always explain every little detail to the fullest. The school has countless clubs, organizations available to all students. It is encouraged that all students get involved in some type of club or organization to feel part of the student body. There’s everything from gay-straight alliance to quiz bowl. There’s also language clubs and young americans for freedom.
There are various opportunities available for students to get involved with athletics. There are multiple sports per season. The school has two gyms, a softball field, baseball field, tennis courts, football field, a pool and a track. The athletic program is very broad in the number of sports.
