Jackson High School is a public school in Jackson Township, Ohio. It has 1,934 students in grades 9-12. The pride within the community makes this school unique. Many opportunities are available from academics, trades, arts and sports.

School has a wide variety of career-tech programs that help students take classes depending on the job they want to do. There are many art classes, AP/honors classes, music classes etc. that students can take. The staff at Jackson High School is the best part. Many of the teachers teach with a passion unparalleled in other schools. The teachers make students enjoy what they are learning, which is much better than being forced to learn.

The extracurriculars are great here. They allow students to play basically any sports they would like to choose. The band is amazing, this school has an excellent band. There are many clubs that the school offers as well.

The athletic opportunities at Jackson High School are without bounds and of the highest caliber. There are sports and out of school activities that can fit just about any kid’s desire.

Track, cross country, hockey, football, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, bowling, band, tennis, wrestling, and swimming are just some of the many sports Jackson has to offer, along with a variety of other club sports/activities.

The high school weight room rivals some of the local division 2 and 3 colleges in the area, making it the best high school weight room in northeast ohio. The Cross Country team is just as impressive, qualifying to the state meet while being part of the hardest region of ohio.

The team also has around one hundred and fifty members, it making it one of, if not the largest cross country team in all of Ohio. Baseball also is very impressive, winning the division 1 state tournament in 2014. Overall Jackson High School has an outstanding athletic programs and consistently has some of the greatest teams, athletes and programs available to young students.
